Many people have been credited with the creation of Rock and Roll, but nobody has ever been identified as the true creator of Rock. Here are a few people credited with it. In 1955 a man from Missouri named Chuck Berry played with a fast blues guitar style and a nice backbeat, this became an iconic staple of Rock and Roll.

In 1967 Jimi Hendrix became one of the most influential Rock Guitarists in the world. Jimi Hendrix played more positions on the guitar than anyone before him, this made fans go crazy for this new sound, a fast blues based rocker, what could be better? In 1969 Jimi Hendrix proved that he was one of the best guitarists to ever live when he played the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock, that moment will be known for generations to come.

 

Now For the man of the hour, the one and only blues messaih, Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie Ray Vaughan was influenced by guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix (see how the blues ties into rock), Albert King and T-Bone. In 1983 Stevie Ray vaughan and his band Double Trouble Released their first album Texas Flood, this became a huge hit. With one album Stevie managed to prove himself self to be absolutely Amazing but he wasn't done there he wanted to be the best, so in 1984 stevie released his second album, Couldn't Stand The Weather Proved that he was here to stay. He shocked everyone when he released his own version of Voodoo chile By Jimi Hendrix.
