Behavior

Polar bears tend to live their lives mostly alone unless they are mating. Sometimes they are drawn together by prey such as a beached whale. They only communicate when “playing” together or when it’s necessary. Polar bears are amazing swimmers but aren’t usually see swimming long distances because it takes a lot of energy.
