Environment

Polar bears only live in the Arctic. Polar bears mainly live on sea ice that forms above the water because it is where their prey is located. They only spend time on land when sea ice is not available. On that note, if sea ice is not available they also swim between floating ice lands. Subpopulations that polar bears can be found in are Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland, and Norway.
