Q4 Releases

Pokemon Sword and Shield - 9/15

Every year, a new Pokemon game comes out, and this year is not an exception to that rule. This one was fairly controversial with a lot of the previous characters being cut, but some still enjoy it. There are some bugs, but overall it seems to be a success considering the amount of copies that were sold. Here's a trailer!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt(Nintendo Switch Edition) - 10/15

The Witcher 3 has already been released on a multitude of different platforms. The Xbox, Playstation, and PC are all platforms it's currently on. They decided to add to that list and challenge the limits of the Switch and put this on there. I was genuinely surprised to see this game make it onto the Switch with how graphically intensive it is. I've heard it wasn't bad though, so that's a plus. Here's a trailer for the Switch edition of the game.

A Hat in Time(Switch Edition) - 10/18

Another game that has already been put onto a few platforms, including PC, is being ported to the Switch. This time, it's more inline with stuff that Nintendo is used to producing. It reminds me a lot of Super Mario Odyssey, and that's a really good thing. I thoroughly enjoyed the platforming in that game, and this seems to be pretty similar. I might have to pick this one up sometime. Here is it's release trailer.

Luigi's Mansion 3 - 10/31

Luigi's Mansion is a pretty popular Nintendo franchise, and this game caused a lot of hype. Although, not many entries have been made, the last one coming out in 2013. Overall, it looked like a pretty fun game. Especially with whatever Gooigi was. The basic premise of the game is you get to clear out a hotel full of ghosts with special technology from a crazy old dude. And you get to play as Luigi, and not Mario. Here's a trailer.

These are just a few games that are getting released in the end of 2019. There's a lot of new indie games coming out that look surprisingly fun. In my commentary, I'll link to their Youtube channel where you can find most of Nintendo's upcoming releases. Overall, the end of the year is pretty exciting for games.
