The Crew Fit for the Caddy

Logan J Douglass

Logan J Douglass bought the Cadillac in July of 2022. At the time, it was a piece of work. Odd odors, leaking fluids, missing converters, among other things. Over the year, he has put his time and effort, and the amount he earned working as a movie theater worker.

At the time, it was bought as a 2004 Cadillac CTS base 4 door sedan with Bose. The Engine was a 3.6L V6 with Direct Injection and Dual Overhead Cams. For $4,000, the Cadillac was his, then the problems started. First it was a power steering leak which was getting agressively faster. Then it was the misfires, mostly caused by bad coil packs. And the one thing that almost ended the project, the Engine Control Module and the Dash Integration Module both fried themselves, leaving him with a $2,000 repair.

All in all, including the purchase cost, repairs, and modifications on or off the car, the project has cost around $10,000. But as he had said, every penny was worth it to learn more about that model.

The project will end when he leaves for the Navy on July 18th.

Wish him luck, because once he comes back, the new project starts...
