Birds can be found almost anywhere in the world. Due to the only thing connecting each of them being feathers, it is safe to assume that there are countless adaptations that allow them to survive in even the harshest environments. Some of the most famous of these adaptations are the speed of the ostrich in exchange for its flight, the wing size of vultures, which allows them to effortlessly find carcasses, and the penguins exchange for flippers instead of wings.
