Raptors are the apex predators of the bird world. They come in many sizes, shapes, and forms, but they are all extremely rare to see. Scientists have generally classified there to be five different types of raptors: eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, and vultures. Each of them has its own adaptations that allow it to survive in its given environment. Some of them have larger wings, and some have fewer feathers, but they all share a similar trait: they are always near the top of the food chain.
