Low Brass

The Low Brass is arguably the most important part of the marching band. They are a big chunk of the band and they have a lot of diverse sounds. The low brass are commonly associated with the important harmonies or melodies. These include the tuba, trombone, mellophone, euphorium, and more. The low brass as a whole is the biggest part of the band. According to Mental Floss  low brass instruments are sometimes made of shell or shofars. Also, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony was the first orchestral piece to have a trombone.
