Saxophones
The saxophones are a very big section of the band. They have many different types of saxophones including alto, baritone and tenor. This is the most common instrument in the band. The saxophone is made of brass but has a reed, so is a woodwind. According to Soft Schools, some saxophones are made of plastic and acrylic. Also, the largest saxophone known today is the contrabass, over six feet tall, 45 pounds and is a full octave lower than the baritone saxophone.
