The Band
The band’s history of marching with pride on the field goes back many years. When they were founded, they only had a few members. Then the band just continued to grow since. The band has done many great competitions and been to many showcases. For example, the band has played at the Great American Ball Park the national anthem alongside the Jackson 5. The band still continues every tradition that has started since 1969.
Here is the band, still known as Lemon Monroe at the time, marching at the 209th Kentucky Derby Parade on May 7th, 1983.
