Sideline Cheerleading

Sideline cheerleading is what you see at football and basketball games. Their main focus is to cheer for the team and engage with fans to keep the fan spirits high during the sports season. Sideline cheerleaders are enthusiatic, pump up the crowd, and encourage the fans to have spirit. They will likely perfrom repetitive short cheers/chants and prepare routine to perform during timeouts and halftime. Sideline cheerleading is very involved with the school and they have a lot of school spirit. It is really common for these teams to have tumbling and jumps to show the crowd. But, some teams are aloud to stunt but it is kind of uncommon.

All Star Cheerleading

All Star cheerleading requires a lot more dedication and time. All star cheer is competing against other squads. These teams are not involved with school and they are an after- school activity. All of these teams stunt and have pyrimids. This is a very dangerous sport because they are carrying eachother, risking everybody's lives.
