Coaching-The Monroe Cross Country prpgram has drastically inreased over the past 5 years.seth Darrell the current head coach who also attended Monroe High school with many acculades in the distance world returned to Monroe to find a career in coaching his hometown school, he began with 5 runners and the program has grown into 100 hundred and made 6 regional qualifying teams and 5 state qualifiers.

Swbl-On the boys side Christian Leach lead monroe with a 4th overall finish to also a fourth place finish as a team with Marty Zumbiel finishing 6th and Andy garver not far behind in 10th. While the girls were lead by Junior Emily Mcmurry who finished 6th overall and a team finish of 5th and Kaylah Vorhees finished 10th recieving first team all-league.

Districts-Monroe boys and Girls both qualified to regionals both snagging a second place to secure there place and one district champion Emily Mcmurry

Regionals-Both teams went on and only two qualified to state both individually Christian leach Finished 9th place 16:39.2 and Marty Zumbiel 16:39.7

Girls-13th

State-Conditions were very horrendous and Marty Zumbiel Finished 44th with 17:24 and Christian Leach Finished 70th 17:37
