Careers and Classes

Many musicians are known for not going to college, or being highschool dropouts. But nowadays, there are many classes and schools that offer what you need to nourish musical talent. There are online classes and lessons that you can take in your free time.

Many people have heard of The Julliard School. (or often referred to just Julliard) Julliard is a private music conservatory in New York. Musicians who went to college, this is most likely where they went. Julliard is known for being a high-profile school and top tier musicians came out with degrees.

People say that putting in work and getting a music degree won't get you anywhere; but they're wrong.

Pursuing a music degree is only a good move if you want a highly rewarding career where you get to preform music every day and do what you love.

As stated before, Julliard is the #1 school in the United States (for music), located in Ney York City, but there are other schools that offer programs to enhance your music career. (Manhattan is also in New York)

The Curtis Institute of music is a school closer to the east coast, and they offer music education and rank #2 on the list of Musical schools in the United States.

Located in Boston, Massachusetts, is the Berklee College of Music. Unlike many of the conservatories on this list, Berklee is firmly focused upon the study and practice of contemporary, as opposed to classical, music. (New England Conservatory of Music and the Boston Conservatory are in Massachusetts, too)
